Helen Downie is a London-based self-taught artist, whose Instagram account, Unskilled Worker, caught the eye of Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele. The colorful portraits, inspired by the Gucci runway, capture the spirit of the subject through a wide-eyed innocence which defines Unskilled Worker’s artistic style. "Jeanies Garden," a mix of flowers interlace with poisoned mushrooms and poppies for a balance of toxic and sweet, was inspired by the scent of the artists grandmothers scarf.
